Large Animal Crematorium dank & treu

Germany's first large animal crematoria — in Schwäbisch Hall, Blender and (in 2026) Rathenow — were planned and designed in full by this practice. An organic timber facade, carefully composed from natural materials, creates a setting in which owners can take leave of their animals with dignity. It is the most demanding brief an architect can be set: a building that must be functional for a difficult purpose and humane for an emotional one.
